It
is the percentage of targeted keyword upon the total text on a webpage.
Suppose
a webpage which is targeted for a particular keyword such as “holiday” has
total number of word (text) on the page equal to 200 and the word “holiday” has
been mentioned on the page by 10 times; then the keyword density of “holiday”
word on this particular page will be 10 divided by 200, equal to 5%.
